He still hasn't passed his concussion protocol, so it doesn't look too good. Hopefully he can clear it soon and get back to playing in no time!
Joe Mixon's still out with a concussion and might miss this Sunday's Bengals game against the Chiefs. He hasn't passed his concussion protocol yet, so it's looking pretty unlikely he'll make it. If he doesn't show up, it'll be Samaje Perine starting again - even though he was limited in practice all week cause of the protocol. Fingers crossed Joe makes a speedy recovery, we need him back out there!
Perine put up some solid numbers in the Bengals' 20-16 win against the Titans. He rushed 17 times for 58 yards and a TD, while snagging four passes for 35 yards. Mixon went down with an unfortunate concussion during the Week 11 game against Pittsburgh, but Perine stepped in and ended up scoring three TDs! Unfortunately, it looks like Mixon won't be able to play this big game against the Chargers, but star wideout Ja'Marr Chase is back in action after being sidelined for four games with a hip injury. No doubt that his return will give the Bengals some more juice on offense—here's hoping they can pull off a win!
